It’s official! The cover for The Blood She Betrayed, the first novel in my Heart Hunters series, has flown into the troposphere and I couldn’t wait to share it with family, friends and readers.
There are three moments in an Author’s Journey that she never forgets: Being offered her first book contract, the release of her book’s cover and the launch of that book.
Although my writing obsession started many years ago, my Author Journey only started in August last year when Lindy Cameron of Clan Destine Press offered me a three-book contract and I’m excited to share this beautiful cover, designed by Ran Valerhorn of Phoenix, Arizona. Thank you for your wonderful work, Ran. Also, a big thanks to artist Ida Mary Walker Larsen from Denmark who provided the beautiful reference material to help bring Shahkara alive!
Ran created a wrap-around cover for The Blood She Betrayed and, although the layout for the back is not yet complete, I can give you a peek at what the full tapestry looks like. My Publisher has yet to add the blurb and other bits to the back. The blurb will run similar to this:
