I was in seventh Gallifreyan heaven on the weekend as I sucked up cosplay and fandom at SupaNova Brisbane. I made friends with dogs and daleks…
… some fabulous fellow fantasy lovers, including Jessica Schick (the gorgeous pirate chick) ?from Kickboxingroosters and lovely Brisbane reader Kathy and her fab children.
… and I sold and signed books at our Queensland authors fantasy book stall, alongside the gorgeous Rowena Cory Daniells and Chris McMahon.
Tomorrow, I fly to Melbourne for a week of book signings, writer and reader get-togethers and a publishing conference. The highlight of the week will be the Melbourne launch of The Blood She Betrayed at Notions Unlimited Bookstore, Chelsea Beach Arcade, Chelsea, this Saturday, November 16 from 5pm.
If you can’t make the Notions Unlimited Bookstore event, I will be signing books at Benn’s Bookshop, Bentleigh at 11.30am on Wednesday, November 13 and at Sun Bookshop, Yarraville, from 4pm on Monday, November 18. Come along and say hello – and maybe sample a little of The Blood She Betrayed.
